Arena di Verona - Verona
Situated in Piazza Bra', the Amphitheatre was built in the first half of the 1st century A.D., in the period which marked the end of Augustus' reign and the beginning of that of Claudius. It is the third largest amphitheatre in Italy, after the Colosseum and the amphitheatre of Capua.
Vittoriale degli Italiani - Gardone Riviera
The "Vittoriale degli Italiani" is the monumental citadel created by Gabriele D'Annunzio, a famous Italian poet, journalist, novelist, dramatist, between 1921 and 1938, when he moved to Gardone Riviera, on the Brescian side of Lake Garda.
